Burns started her TV career in 1995 portraying the supporting character Peg of the spanish-language teen show Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns was a member of the Baywatch group in 1998. Then, she appeared on the sequel to Baywatch: Hawaii rendition until her pregnancy forced her to withdraw from the show.
