Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe, a singer-songwriter of country music hailing from the United States. She was in 2007 when she released two singles, as well as an album called Satisfied. She then formed the Pistol Annies group with Angaleena Lambert, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena. Later, they released their second album, entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake Shelton in 2015. In 2015, she released The Blade. This album earned her acclaim and praise. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of Riverside Illinois. Riverside Illinois and has over fifteen years of experience as a public servant, which includes nearly five years as Deputy City Manager in Iowa City. As Assistant Village Manager, her current responsibilities include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department as well as completing various tasks. Ashley is in charge of managing the operations and activities of Riverside Village and also for implementing the goals and strategies for elected officers. Ashley was in a number of responsibilities during her career, which included municipal planning and government communication budgeting, collective bargaining and management of employees as well as working on climate change-related initiatives. Due to her engagement in national organizations and work in communities with populations ranging Ashley has gained an understanding of the complexity of differences and similarities with the way public institutions work. Ashley's program focuses on leadership, management and public administration from the viewpoint as a professional. She focuses on the need to adapt ethical and strategic decision-making to the challenges that we face today, and on how to navigate relationships between government and communities provides context and guidance for professionals working in public institutions.
